Hello Internet!
Here we are in 2018 and the new year means new changes to the website. If you came to the website looking for the newest chapter of Pokemon, I have bad news for you. You can read about it here, but basically my Pokemon Sun/Moon Fanfiction is being put on hold indefinitely. I’m sorry I couldn’t leave it with a better ending, but that’s how it’s going to end. Basic lack of motivation and diminishing returns on the series has lead me to move on to other things. Like poetry! Every Wednesday there will now be poetry! Now, I am a novice poet with very little poetry skills, so be easy with me. That’s why I wanted to start out this year of poetry with something I have a little bit of knowledge about: Haikus. I have written Haikus before (which you can find here and here), so I thought that would be a good place to start. Also this should be the only time where there’s a paragraph before I actually get into the poetry. Going forward, I will just post the poetry without any additional details slapped on the front of it. Ok enough of that. Let’s get to the Haikus!
Snow softly falling
Covering the ground with white
Blank winter canvas.
Twenty-Seventeen
Year of turmoil and grief
Ready for new year.
Watching the snow fall
Sipping my hot chocolate
Perfect winter day.
