Hello Internet!
I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying your holidays. If you are traveling for the holidays, I hope that you stay safe. Around here it looks like Christmas is going to be rainy, but not snowy or icy. I’d love a white Christmas but I guess I’ll just have to settle for a little rain. No matter where you are in the world, I do really hope that you have a wonderful Christmas or whatever holiday you are celebrating today. Even if today is just a Monday where you’re just hanging out by yourself, I hope you have a good day. This time of the year brings me a lot of joy because I love the Christmas season. But I also know that the holidays aren’t for everyone. They can bring a lot of stress and sadness. So if you’re in that situation this Christmas, I’ll let you know that I’m thinking of you and hoping things get better for you.
This Christmas I am excited to see friends and family, eat some delicious food, and exchange gifts. I’m definitely going to spend some time resting and relaxing after Christmas. I have books to read and video games to play. And who knows, maybe I’ll even get some writing done in that time off. This year I’m also excited to look back on 2023 and look forward to 2024. Every year seems to be a rollercoaster of ups and downs, but all in all I had a pretty good year. I’m excited for the goals I was able to accomplish this year and the progress I’ve made on others. I really want to take that energy into 2024 and just build on the stuff I’ve been working on in 2023. I will probably have a Weekly Blog or something in early 2024 talking about my goals/themes for 2024 but for the most part it really is going to be more of the same. Build on the stuff I’m already working on while taking small steps to hit my next goals.
Lastly, I want to take a moment to thank all of you for all the love and support you’ve given me this year by reading all my stuff. I know that I have been very far from consistent with new uploads, but all of you are really nice when it comes to stuff like that. This year, when I did put out new stuff, you all showed up and really supported me. So thank you, thank you, thank you. Will I be more consistent in 2024? No. I could maybe say maybe, but I’ll be realistic. No, I won’t be consistent in 2024. I’m going to try really hard to put out one or two pieces a month, but that’s the best I can do. I wish I had more time and motivation to write, but I can only do so much. So let me just set some realistic standards and then you can be pleasantly surprised if I end up exceeding that low, low bar.
Ok that’s all I really want to say. Again, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas or holiday or Monday. Whatever you celebrate, I hope it’s a good one. And I hope you have a wonderful New Year’s and that 2024 is your year. Set some goals for yourself and really hit the ground running. I know you can do it!
