What will we leave behind for our children?
What do we demand from our sons and daughters?
What deep scars are we making now?
That cannot be reversed?

Is this the better life we worked for?
Is this the inheritance we wanted to pass on?
Or are we just leaving behind war, strife, and division?
Kicking the can down the road like our forefathers did to us?
