Everyone is stuck inside looking out.
Distanced from one another.
Public squares are empty.
Schools empty.
Restaurants empty.
All very quiet.
Trapped inside our own homes.
Stuck with our thoughts.
Our anxieties.
News blasting loud.
Fear and blood by the bucketful.
Please, make it quiet.
Washing our hands.
Humming to ourselves to count the seconds.
Quiet moments of self-reflection.
Trying to stay sane in this quiet world.
