The Summer’s heat bears down.
Starlight burning the skin and making us sweat.
Outside is blazing and the air is thick with humidity and sweat.
Our only refuge is air conditioning and the sanctuary it can bring.
Nerve endings are burned and people’s inner heat comes out.
We all have to suffer but they are just adding more hot air.
Summer is here and it won’t let us forget it.
Please Autumn, won’t you hurry and get here already.
