Written In The Stars

What is there left to do,
But dance among the stars?
Spinning with spiraling comets,
Reflecting on what is ours.

The angels sway and sing our song.
A chorus heard on high.
Our heartbeats match the cosmic tune.
Shooting stars across the sky.

When the music fades I’ll pull you close,
For one more soft embrace.
I’ll close my eyes and think of love.
And there will be your face.
