I hope you all are doing well. If you are reading this and have noticed that things have changed on this post, you must really pay attention or just have recently checked this post before the update. I decided I would just update this Bulletin Board post to better reflect the current state of my categories instead of writing a whole new post. Either way I just want people first coming here to the website and seeing this pinned post to have an updated understanding of what I write and what to expect.
I do want to take this moment to also say that I appreciate all of you for reading the stuff I write and supporting me. That message will always be true even if I stop publishing anything new and writing in general.

Weekly Blog
Category for blogs where I post about a long range of topics usually relating to something that happened during that week or in recent weeks. These blogs tend to focus on things like life updates, my interests, special holidays, personal stories, or whatever I feel like writing about that week. These blogs are a good way to get to know me and get some insight into my life.
Poetry
Category for posting short-form poetry. This can range from Hiakus and Six-Word Memoirs to more free form poetry with very little structure. This content is usually pretty short and perfect for people who don’t have a lot of time to read through long-form content like Blogs or Writing Prompt Pieces. This is the main category that will get updated going forward.
Writing Prompts
Category for longer form content based off of Writing Prompts I find through online sources and books. These pieces are rarely full stories, but more so small parts of a story which starts the reader out in the middle, without a strong beginning or end. Most of the Writing Prompts are stand-alone pieces but some may have sequels or many parts to them. My Dungeons and Dragons inspired series started as a collection of Writing Prompt Pieces and remain under this category although the ongoing story I’m writing with those characters is no longer connected to any one Writing Prompt.
Fanfiction
Category for pieces that are considered Fanfiction or fiction that I write but are based on someone else’s body of work. Generally speaking, Fanfiction is fiction where the Author takes already established characters, settings, and details and tells a new story within that world. My Fanfiction is not sexual in nature and does not have sexual content. Currently this section is home to two ongoing series based on the Pokemon Games. One focusing on Pokemon Sun and Moon and another on Pokemon Heart Gold and Pokemon Soul Silver. I have no plans on updating this category with any new pieces in the near future.
Character Creation
A category that I added in 2021 which featured a breakdown of characters that appeared in other writing pieces or that I was playing in Dungeons and Dragons campaigns at the time. They were short summaries of characters, including physical descriptions, personality, motivations, and more. Character Creation only had a few additions before I stopped updating that category with new content. I have no plans on updating this category with any new pieces in the near future.
Bulletin Board
Category for short blogs which are used for quick updates about the website, breaks, or anything that I don’t deserve its own main Weekly Blog. Bulletin Board posts are also used as community spaces where people can just chat about whatever or give suggestions on how I can improve the website. I’d love to hear all sorts of feedback whether positive or negative so I get a better understanding of what my readers want to read and what they don’t or what troubles they might have navigating my website. I want it to be easy for people to find the stuff I write and enjoy it.
Creative Writing
Creative Writing is a category which acts as a catch all for any miscellaneous pieces of work I publish. If the piece in question does not fit into any of the other categories, it will be found here. This category only gets updated when inspiration strikes and I really feel like writing a piece that does not fit into any of the other categories. Do not expect this category to be updated with new pieces at any regular volume.
Politics
Politics is a category that I published pieces in very early on when I started this blog and I did not know what I wanted my focus to be. This category is not on my main page and most of the pieces have either been deleted, removed, or unlisted. In this very polarizing world, I made the decision to remove them because they held a lot of opinions that either are no longer relevant or I do not stand behind. I’m sure if you really wanted to, you could track them down somewhere but I’ll be the first to tell you that it will not be worth it. I was a different person in 2017 and I do not stand by a lot of those political beliefs I had back then. I believe people can learn and change. They do not need to stand by old, outdated opinions on anything including politics. I am a good example of that.
I have no plans on bringing back Political Pieces and have no plans on updating the category any further. My website is not a platform for hate. Racism, sexism, and other forms of hate speech will not be tolerated.
