Less than 24 hours to go and it is crunch time! Making final preparations for the big debut tomorrow. I’m super excited to get this off the ground and we’ll see how far it goes! Tons of new stuff comes out tomorrow (although you’ll see it all at the same time) and then I have a full week with tons of pieces in each of my categories. I’m sure you’re tired of hearing all of that though! You’ll be able to check out everything tomorrow!
But on to better and new news. Today I’ve added an editor! I know I haven’t published anything yet and I’m already building a team to take this to the next level! My great friend and former college roommate, Jake has decided to be my editor in his spare time. Hopefully this will lead to better grammar, fewer spelling mistakes, and overall a better reader experience for you. I’m super excited to make him a part of the team and hopefully down the road, he’ll continue to become more and more involved as things go on! I’ve also gotten myself a Twitter page so you guys can find my stuff on Facebook as well as Twitter. The Twitter page is still in its infancy but I hope to improve it throughout the week and make it better as time goes on. So feel free to like and follow on Facebook as well as follow us on Twitter. Our Twitter handle is @allenwriterblog. Now you can see me try to squeeze everything I want to say into 140 characters. Woo!
I’m not sure what the future of this website is, but as long as it keeps expanding and I’m able to keep up with the weekly demand, I’m sure we can make great things happen. Of course it’s all up to you. No matter how much I write or how much I try to get my stuff out there, a community is what keeps things like this going. I understand that a lot of the early views on my page will come from people who know me personally, but I’m hoping to take it farther than that! That means I need your feedback and I’m going to listen to it! I’m writing for me, but I’m also writing for all of you! So if you see something you like, feel free to share it or give it a like on our Facebook Page as well as retweet it on Twitter. I know I’m asking a lot of you, but when starting out, I’m going to need all the help I can get! If you don’t use social media or you don’t want to share things, that’s ok too. I totally understand. I just hope that you find something you like and continue to read my stuff. That’s the number one priority!!
