Fall Apart Slowly

If we are going to fall apart.
Can we please do it slowly?
So I don’t have to lose you all at once.

My heart just couldn’t take it.
If in one moment you’re here.
And in the next moment I’ve lost you.

I need to hold onto you as much as I can.
I need to savor each moment while I still have it.
A small piece of you that I’ll hold dearly after you’re gone from my life.
